Deer Hunter 2004 Widescreen Fix Tutorial

 

Widescreen Fix for DEER HUNTER 2004:

1. Run the game as Admnistrator at least once.
2. Choose the 800x600 resolution in the video options.
3. Close the game.
4. Open \Game\Profiles\Settings.cfg in a hex editor like HxD.
5. Search for 20 03 00 00 58 02 00 00.
6. Highlight 20 03 00 00 and go to the Data inspector tab in the right side.
7. Change the value in the UInt32 row to the desired width.
8. Do the same for the 58 02 00 00 value, but for the height instead.
   
   
   For FOV (Field of View) Fixing:
   

   Instructions:

   1.Download the File
   
   2. Extract all files to the game folder.

   3. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of dinput8.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.

   4. Set the desired resolution to fix the cropping and FOV factor in DeerHunter2004FOVFix.ini
   
   5. Run the game as Administrator.
